The Barn is quite different in style from our other cottages, being less 'cosy cottage' and more modern chic but retaining stone, beams and some old features. Flat screen TV, Broadband, wood burner, under floor heating, digital shower, funky bathrooms and dramatic lighting makes for an exciting place. The Barn is a large building with a generous central sitting area, kitchen and dinng table with folding doors to the courtyard area. At either end there is a mezzanine bedroom with stair access. The double room is above a large sitting room/snug with woodburning stove and has a walk-in wardrobe. There is a shower, basin and toilet  in the wetroom below and a utility room opposite. At the other end of the Barn is a mezzanine twin room and below a large bathroom with shower. Finally a study which can make into a bedroom to reach full capacity of 5.

There is a small private garden with seating and barbeque which leadsout onto the main garden and thence the paddock. This winter we will develop the courtyard into a less pebbly more designed space.

The Barn is now fully booked for this summer but we are taking bookings for June, July and August 2009
