Welcome to the Coach House Cottage
This wonderfully cosy self-catering cottage retains some of the original stabling and offers a quintessentially English country cottage experience. Perfect for family getaways, it boasts a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and shower, and a second twin bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom, complete with a bath and hand shower. Pets are welcome at the Coach House but please read Rules for Pets below.
Rules for Pets
One small well-behaved dog is usually permitted but must be checked with the manager prior to booking.
Young pets (e.g. puppies) MUST be declared at the time of booking and authorised by the Manager
We ask dog owners to observe the following:
- Can you keep strict control at all times while in or at the Property
- Please clear up any poop
- Please bring your dog’s bed or basket for sleeping in
- We ask you not to leave your dogs alone in or at the Property
- Please keep pooches off beds or furnishings, and clean up any excess hair before departing
- Please don’t let dogs upstairs in the cottage
- Can we make sure doggies have no parasites and fleas before they occupy the Property.
The ground floor whilst providing separate areas, naturally flows from the comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove, through the hall with original stable feature, to the lovely dining room with seating for six, and on in to the well-equipped kitchen, with a bathroom beyond. There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. French doors open out from the dining room on to the attractive garden.
We would like to keep The Coach House and its furnishings to a high standard for the enjoyment of all our guests. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot have smoking.
The stairs lead up to a delightful master bedroom with a king sized bed and an en-suite bathroom complete with a rain shower. Along the landing is a spacious twin bedroom with two single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a bath and hand shower. The twin beds convert into a king sized bed upon request.
The cottage has its own access, drive and landscaped garden with secluded parking. A paddock joins onto the garden and you are welcome to share our extensive garden, with its mature trees and wonderful structures – look out for the apple arbour and bendy willow house. We encourage all manner of bird life including owls and bats. The children will enjoy bouncing on the large trampoline nestled behind the bendy willow house!
On Monday evenings our local bell-ringers practice at the beautiful village church some fifty yards away.
