We had a fantastic stay at the Coach House. The best cottage we’ve stayed in and will definitely be back. Very private, beautiful place and very welcoming hosts.
Lovely, comfortable cottage in a good location for surrounding areas such as Pickering and Thornton-Le-Dale. Good variety of places to eat and places to visit in the local area.
The property was very clean and nicely decorated. David’s communication was excellent and instructions clear and precise. It’s a great base for touring the North Yorkshire moors with Whitby only 35 minutes away by car. Would highly recommend

We had a lovely weeks stay. The check in was made really easy. David was really responsive and nothing was too much trouble for him. It was also really nice that we had access to parts of the big garden and the trampoline went down well with the children. Pickering is a lovely area and relatively close to places such as Whitby, Scarborough and only a few miles from flamingo land. Would highly recommend the cottage.

Beautiful barn in a peaceful setting, yet within walking distance to all the amenities in Pickering. The barn itself was very clean & comfortable with a luxurious feel. The hosts had put up a real Christmas tree and decorations for our Christmas stay which was lovely! We loved the log burner! Beautiful walks directly from the barn. Lots of lovely places to visit locally too. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to all our queries. Would love to visit again!

A unique house with lots of room that enabled easy access to all the Moors has to offer. Main bathroom, downstairs bedroom and kitchen lounge diner all fully wheelchair accessible. There are two or three steps into the snug area, second shower room and utility. Appreciated having both a private garden but also access to the wider gardens beyond. David and Philip were great hosts who gave lots of recommendations on what to do in the area – including where to go pumpkin picking!
We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Barn. It’s a great location to explore North Yorkshire.
The Barn is comfortable and cosy and well equipped. David was an excellent host and we very much appreciated the welcome tray.
